The Book of Psalms is one of the books of the Bible covered in Generations with Vision's Family Bible Study Series. There are four books in the Psalms section of the series, of which two have been published. Book three is the next installment of the series. The design cues from the first two books were carried over to this new book. The two previous books used a style of bright colors and landscape or pastoral scenes. We attempted to capture this feel, while playing with some new colors and styles. The book is set to be released in the next few months. Shepherds is an annual conference launched this year by Generations with Vision. It is a week long bootcamp for fathers, elders, and pastors, giving them over fifty hours of discipleship and mentorship training. The ministry contacted me and requested a three page flyer for download and print containing speaker and registration information. I used wed design for inspiration, the results of which are shown below.

The Family Economics Conference 2012 was a great event, made even more wonderful for a creative to be at do to the work that was required. As a designer and photographer for Generations with Vision, I was privileged to be selected as a member of the camera team. The Video thrown up on the big screen in the main room was converted to a dvd series that replaces the previous two years of conference video. The experience was a relatively new one for me as my creative work is normally limited to photography where cameras are concerned. However, using a cinema quality camera in a creative outlet was a great job. I can't finish without giving a shout-out to the other members of the team. Josiah Hamill, our video switcher. Derek Buehner, our Camera 1 Operator. Stephan Eden, our Camera 2 Operator. Corey Cheney, Cam 3 Operator on the keynotes. Matthew Jackson, Cable Operator for Cam 3. Tyler Gibas, our Stage Manager. Zach Roach and Daniel Cabrera, our backup Cam Operators. And last but definitely not least, our video director, Dave Buehner. A short clip of the final dvd is shown below, followed by three screen captures.

The new publicity campaign for Generations with Vision used a free gift to boost signups for the radio rss feed. The sign and card design were derived from the rss banner on the Generations website.

The 2012 Family Economics Conference & Liberty Day Celebration was the biggest event so far this year for W Design. As the third and final day rolled around, it was clear from the looks on all the attendees faces that it had been quite a weekend. For me, the best part of the weekend had been capturing the essence of the conference on film, frame by frame. The third day shots are below.

Honey Comb Photos is the work of two young women from homeschool families living in the Denver, CO area. They asked me to design them a logo and banner based on ideas that they had come up with themselves. The ideas they had at the start were so adaptable that it was easy to find a good solution to the brand identity. The final banner containing the logo is below.

The Reformation Church annual family camp, held along the Platte River in Nebraska, is a gathering of reformed families from several different churches across the midwest and mountain states. To create the flyer, I used several photo manipulations for the background, with classic and timeless styling for the typography on the front. On the back, I went for a simple look, using the image of Maranatha Bible Camp used at the previous camps with a simple arrangement of body copy and light serif font choice.
